All students, whether full-time or part-time, all faculty members, and all staff members, whether full-time or part-time, of Coastal Carolina Community College must register any vehicle to be driven upon or parked on the campus of Coastal Carolina Community College. Students only attending continuing education, Adult High School, Basic Skills program, or Human Resource Development classes will receive their parking permit on the first day of class.
Vehicles may be registered during student registration at the beginning of each semester, or at the Security Services Office located in the Student Center anytime thereafter during each semester. At the time of registration of any vehicle, a parking permit shall be issued to the driver of each registered vehicle. The parking permit issued to the driver of each registered vehicle shall be displayed outside on the driver side of the rear bumper or rear window at all times when the vehicle is in use or located on the campus of Coastal
Carolina Community College. Parking permits will be void if not permanently attached to the vehicle. Motorcycles and mopeds will display a parking permit on either the fender or fork tube.
Lost or stolen parking permits shall be reported to Security Services as soon as the loss or theft is discovered. It is the responsibility of all staff and students to remove their parking permit at the time they no longer are employed or attend school at
Coastal Carolina Community College.
Any citation issued to a vehicle with a valid parking permit will be the responsibility of the person who was issued that parking permit.
When selling your vehicle, remove the parking permit and notify Security Services ,located in the Student Center, giving the permit number.
When borrowing a vehicle whether for one or more days, you must get a temporary pass from Security Services, located in the Student Center before going to class. Staff, faculty, and students will NOT park in visitors’ parking at any time.
