OSHA 30-Hour Construction
This course is designed for individuals in industry who need an overview of OSHA standards and their application to the construction industry. The course includes a written exam. A certificate of completion is awarded through OSHA to all students who complete the course.
40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operator Training
This course is designed to meet the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120 and is for employees who have the responsibility to respond to actual or potential releases of hazardous materials or hazardous waste. A certificate of completion will be issued upon completion of the course.
8-Hour Hazardous Waste Operator Refresher
This course is designed as a refresher course for employees who have the responsibility to respond to actual or potential releases of hazardous materials/waste.
Permit Required Confined Space
This course is designed to meet the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.146 for employees and supervisors whose job requires that they enter permit required confined spaces. A written exam, PRCS entry evaluation and completion of a team table top exercise are required for course completion. Manuals and handouts are provided at no cost.
Course Length: 16 hours
These are OSHA approved courses provided by an OSHA outreach trainer in both construction and general industry.
OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens
This course will provide employees with information about the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standards and the policies and standard operating procedures. This training will include all the requirements outlined in the OSHA Standard 1910.1030.
OSHA Excavation & Trenching Regulations
This course is designed to give a basic understanding of the 1989 Trenching and Excavation Standard, (29 CFR Part 1926, OSHA Subpart P). Topics will include the structure of the standard, definition of terms, soil classification, requirements, and procedures.
OSHA General Industry
This course is a basic overview of the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions on the job sites, plan operations, retail stores, and food service facilities and will provide the student with a basic understanding of OSHA regulations, enforcement, and compliance. Topics include discussions of the OSHA standards that relate to safety management, hazard recognition, the inspection process, required safety programs, and areas of general industry most often cited.
OSHA Lockout/Tagout Regulations
This course will teach services and maintenance personnel the basic fundamentals and procedures of the OSHA Lockout/Tagout standard and the importance of energy control and isolation in the safe service and maintenance of equipment.
