Ed Paradysz
Ed Paradysz developed the SLAC Arabic program and began teaching it in January 2002. He is a retired Marine who served as an Arabic linguist and Cryptologic Intelligence Analyst. He is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA, and studied Arabic in the National Cryptologic School language program at the National Security Agency in Fort George G. Meade, MD. Ed.
Ed co-developed the SLAC Pashto program and has been teaching it since October 2009. |

Tim Miles
Tim Miles began teaching for the SLAC program in 2007. He was an officer in the Marine Corps and served as an Arabic Linguist. He is a graduate of Loyola University, has Masters degrees from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Tulane, and Georgetown University and has served as a lecturer in the History Department at University of North Carolina-Wilmington (1993, 2000, and 2002-2004). |
