Training opportunities for childcare providers are designed to give caregivers the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance the intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of the children for whom they care. Classes are also held to address the issues associated with operating such a business.

Training for Child Care Professionals

Training classes are co-sponsored by both the Onslow County Child Care Resource and Referral and Coastal Carolina Community College. Our classes are offered free of charge to chldcare providers working 10 or more hours a week with children under 6 years of age in either a licensed childcare center or a licensed home daycare in Onslow County, Onslow County preschool teachers and preschool assistants, and Coastal Carolina Community College’s Early Childhood Education curriculum students.
