Instructors
Our instructors are Registered Nurses who have worked in a variety of fields in nursing, and all bring a passion for excellent patient care. They want to pass their love of caring for those unable to care for themselves on to others. Their goal is to create an inviting classroom, which is filled with knowledge, laughter, and a desire to learn and be successful. Not only do they value the life experiences that each student brings to the classroom, but they recognize the obstacles each student may face as an adult learner and are dedicated to making their education and career goals a reality.
Methods of Instruction
A variety of learning methods are incorporated into the classroom. Lecture, demonstration, audio-visuals, role playing, small group discussions, and supervised skills practice are just a small part of the learning experience. There is plenty of practice in the laboratory setting before beginning any clinical time so that every student can feel comfortable and confident about patient care.
