Basic Rider Course
This 20 hour course is designed for new riders who have never ridden a motorcycle, and for re-entry riders who have not ridden in a long time. You do not need a driver's license or learners permit to take this class. You must be able to ride a bicycle, and you must possess some degree of strength. This course is physically demanding! You should be able to support a 300-pound motorcycle while straddling it, and have the ability to push the motorcycle for short distances. Hot, cold, and/or rainy weather can add to the strenuous conditions you'll encounter while taking the course.
Completion requirements include 100% attendance for all classroom and range exercises, a riding skill evaluation, and a 50 question multiple-choice written exam.
