Welcome to Massage Therapy!

This program, which consists of two components, Massage Therapy I & II, is designed to provide students with the essential skills to become a State and Nationally Licensed Massage Therapist. The curriculum will teach the skills necessary for safe effective and ethical practices required to perform basic therapeutic massage.

Upon completion of the program and after acquiring the necessary state and national licensure, students will be able to work in hospitals, clinics, chiropractor and doctor offices, wellness centers, fitness centers, salons, athletic programs, corporate wellness programs, performing arts programs, as well as establish their own private practices.

Class meets Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5:00 - 9:30 pm
bullet May 21, 2012 Morning Massage Therapy Orientation 11:00 - 1:00
May 29, 2012 - February 7, 2013 Morning Massage Therapy Session
Class meets Monday through Thursday 8:00 - 12:30

Students must attend the Orientation for the session registered.

Coastal Carolina Community College is now offering additional continuing educational classes for licensed massage therapist. These classes can be applied to the 24 CEUs required biannually by the state. All classes are offered on Saturday and are six (6) hours long.
