Admission Procedures
- Complete the Coastal Carolina Community College Admissions Application.
- Be sure to legibly complete all sections of the application and sign at the bottom. Important note: Your social security number is required on the admissions application however once admitted, each student is assigned a Student ID number for use in all college related business.
- Mail your completed application and copies of any certificates accepted for college credit to Coastal Carolina Community College/Attention: Rachel Ayers, FIP Counselor
- The only accepted certifications for credit are Firefighter II, Level II Fire Instructor and Level III Fire Inspector.
- If you have not completed the Placement Test, make arrangements to take the test at your local community college.
- Coastal will accept the ASSET, COMPASS or ACCUPLACER placement test.
- Request high school and college transcripts and placement test scores be sent to Coastal Carolina Community College/Attention: Rachel Ayers
- Transcripts should be submitted showing proof of graduation from high school, adult high school program or GED.
- Transcripts should be submitted from all colleges and/or universities attended where curriculum course work was completed.
- If you are interested in Financial Aid, visit the Financial Aid website and complete the FAFSA Financial Aid application.
- Contact Rachel Ayers, FIP Counselor at 910-938-6249 or ayersr@coastalcarolina.edu for confirmation that your fully completed application was received and to complete the remainder of the admissions process.
