Registration Information

NEW Calculator Policy Important Notice: All students competing in the Southeastern Regional Math Contest at Coastal Carolina Community College and State Math Contest at on April 26, 2012 at Fayetteville State University will not be permitted to use a calculator of any type for testing. The Sprint competition will also be completed without a calculator.

The registration fee is $5.00 per student, which will include lunch and a T-shirt.  Each school may register four students in each category.  Morning refreshments and lunch will be complimentary for the sponsors.  To enter your students in the contest, please submit the registration form online and mail the registration fee by March 1, 2012.  Once your registration fee has been received, you will receive a confirmation email. 

The registration fee is non-refundable. Make checks payable to "Coastal Carolina Community College" and mail to:

**Registration forms/fees received after March 1, 2012 will not be accepted.

You will need to submit the names of students participating and their t-shirt size no later than March 22, 2012.

On the contest day, check-in will be in the Fine Arts Building between 8:30 – 9:15 A.M.  Lunch will be provided after the subject testing has been completed. If you have any students who will not be eating with us or with special needs (dietary, medical, etc.), please note such on the registration form. The math sprints competition will immediately follow lunch.  After the sprints competition, the awards will be presented and the ceremony should be completed by approximately 1:30 pm.

If you have a change in students, please reply to the confirmation email that will be sent to you.  In extenuating circumstances only, you may replace a contestant with another student on the day of the contest.  However, you may not bring more than four students per exam category.  Also, please do not bring students to the contest that are not participating in the exam.  Any sponsor not receiving a confirmation by March 22nd should contact (910) 938-6327 or via email at mathcontest@coastalcarolina.edu.  We look forward to seeing you on Thursday March 29, 2012.

Rules of Eligibility/Calculator
