Inclement Weather Policy


Should it become necessary to close the College because of inclement weather (storms, ice, snow, etc.), local radio and television stations will be notified of closings. Students should stay tuned to local radio and television stations or check the College web site.

In the event the power is out, please call the campus switchboard at
(910) 455-1221 for announcements.

In the event of such an emergency, notifications of closings and delays will be posted in the table below.

Contacting a Student On Campus


In an emergency situation arises, and you need to contact a student at Coastal Carolina Community College while they are in class on the College campus, please contact Coastal's Campus Security Office at (910) 938-6290.
