Ragsdale 105 - Main Student Computer Lab

What to Expect:

We have 38 computers running Windows XP/Office 2003. We also offer software programs compatible with classes offered by the college.

We make every effort to ensure the lab is equipped with the most current campus software. At this time, users are not allowed to access or download any programs; this includes all chat (messenger) programs. We also ask that cell phones are put on silent and not used while in the lab. However, if they are in need of a school related program, the Helpdesk staff can assist them.

Monday — Thursday 7:00 am to 9:50 pm
Friday 7:00 am to 4:50 pm
Saturday 9:00 am to 4:50 pm

Health 135 - The Health Lab

What to Expect:

The Health lab is equipped with software for students enrolled in the medical, dental and nursing programs.

The lab is equipped with internet access, printing and professional support.

Hours change regularly. Contact the Helpdesk for the most current information.

Summer Hours of Operation:

Monday 9:00 to 3:00
Tuesday — Thursday 11:00am to 3:00pm
Friday 11:00am to 1:00pm

CE 200 — Academic Studies Center/Writing Lab

The Academic Studies Center & Writing Lab provides books, videos, instructional handouts, and skills improvement software to assist students with learning needs. Qualified instructors are available to provide assistance with basic skills (math, English, and reading), tutorial assistance for Coastal college courses, preparation for the GED test and Adult High School courses, and strategies for test-taking and study skills. Qualified tutors are available to assist students with writing skills for curriculum classes. Computer-assisted tutorial instruction also available. No appointment necessary.

Monday — Thursday 7:30am to 9:00pm
Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm

BT 204 — The Programming Lab

What to Expect:

Our newly refurbished programming lab is located in BT 204.

This lab is staffed by faculty and students who are well versed in programming so they might help with the unique needs of students in the programming curriculum.

The lab offers printing capabilities, internet, and the software necessary for students to create their programs.

Hours of Operation:

Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Friday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm

What to Expect:

Students can use this computer lab to work on course assignments or tutorial software. The computer lab is equipped with software for students enrolled in math and science courses.
