Pharmacy Technician Instructor

The Division of Continuing Education is seeking an experienced and nationally-certified pharmacy technician to assist in teaching primarily the math calculations portion of a 108 hour Pharmacy Technician course under a licensed pharmacist lead instructor.  The successful candidate will teach approximately one-third (1/3) of the class hours.  Current day classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Certification as a pharmacy technician, outstanding written and oral communication skills, and the ability to instruct pharmacy technician math skills required.  An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, and prior teaching experience preferred.  Classes usually run for 18 weeks throughout the year with no classes held on, immediately preceding, or immediately following major holidays.  The three (3) texts associated with this class will be provided.

Salary:  Based on education and experience.
