Bookkeeping Essentials Class Begins February 7

This course is designed to prepare individuals for an entry-level position, or expand upon previous training as a bookkeeper or accounting clerk. The course applies academic and practical skills that will familiarize and train students the generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and their application in either manual and electronic formats. The course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and application of bookkeeping concepts for an exciting career.

Students will apply their aptitude with numbers and attention to detail to bookkeeping practices, terminology, and concepts to create and manage; accounts, paying bills, generating the payroll, and reconciliation of records. Throughout the course, students will learn through hands-on application of the topics taught to strengthen and expand their knowledge and skill set level.
