Substance Abuse Counselor Certification | Seated and Online Classes Available

Coastal offers entry-level education and training to be used for state licensure or renewal as a Substance Abuse Counselor. The program begins in January and will complete in December. Students will be trained by experienced Substance Abuse Professionals who will provide high-quality instruction and guidance to students to achieve their goals and succeed in the profession.

Course work is divided into seated and online sessions. Students may take seated and online sessions simultaneously, but in the order specified. (see course list on opposite side) All Substance Abuse classes are approved by the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Board (NCSAPPB.)
