Anna Maria Cancelli Faculty Member of the Year

Mention the words “English instructor” and the first things coming to mind for some are old tweed clothing, old long winded narratives and dare we say – boredom.

But for students at Coastal Carolina Community College enrolled in Anna Maria Cancelli’s English courses, they are sure to find the classes anything but old fashioned, stuffy or boring. Cancelli recently was named Faculty Member of the Year at Coastal.

Calling All Coastal's Dental Hygiene Alumni!
Reunion September 13, 2008

“If there’s time to lean, there’s time to clean,” said Barbara Branche to the Class of 1979.

I remember her well – and so do you! The CCCC dental hygiene alumni are going to honor Barbara Branche for her years of service and dedication in raising all of us RDH’s into who we are now. There will be a reception for Barbara on Saturday, September 13 following the continuing education sessions at the Fall Scientific Meeting. It will be a great time to reconnect with your classmates and plan a class reunion after the reception. Barbara will be retiring in May 2009 and we want as many alumni as possible to be there for a cocktail hour to honor her and send her off into retirement in style.

New! Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) / Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) Certification Prep Course - I

Coastal Carolina Continuing Education Division is excited to announce the new MCSE & MCSA Certification courses. Our MCSE / MCSA training program helps prepare students for one of the most widely recognized technical certifications in the IT industry. By earning the premier MCSE or MCSA certifications, individuals are demonstrating that they have the skills necessary to lead organizations in the successful design, implementation, and administration of the most advanced Windows operating system.

In the MCSE / MCSA Certification Prep course, students will prepare for the two (2) elective exams. Microsoft’s 70-298 exam is designed to measure your ability to analyze the business, technical, and security requirements, and create the Logical and Physical Design for Network Infrastructure Security. Microsoft’s 70-299 exam is designed to measure your ability to implement, manage, maintain and troubleshoot security in a Windows Server 2003 network infrastructure and to plan and configure a Windows Server 2003.
