Deadline Guidelines for FAFSA 2009—2010
Fall Semester — June 1
Spring Semester — October 1
Summer Semesters — March 15
In order for students to obtain federal financial aid through FAFSA to pay tuition and textbooks for current semester, the deadlines listed below should be used as a guideline. Students can continue to apply for FAFSA after these dates, however, the financial aid may not be processed in time to pay the current semester's tuition and textbooks. Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA application at any time during the academic year.
Pell Grant Critical Deadlines
Ten-day Signing Deadline — You must return your completed Pell Grant Award Agreement within ten (10) days of receipt of the offer for financial aid for the 2009-2010 academic year. Failure to return the agreement will delay your cost of living check and will prohibit you from charging your books in our College Store.
Summer 2010 Registration Form Deadline 5 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2010 – The yellow copy of your registration form, with instructor’s initials, must be turned in to the Admissions Office Receptionist in Student Services. You must also sign a logbook.

Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) Resumes
We are pleased to tell you that the MyCAA program resumed operations on March 13, 2010, at 12 p.m., noon (EST), for military spouses who currently have existing MyCAA accounts. Please read through the official announcement letter from the Office of the Secretary of Defense as this announcement affects schools and spouses differently.
If you are interested in a part-time position that works around your class schedule, ask the Admissions Office Receptionist or any Financial Aid professional for a federal work-study application.
The College provides a number of financial assistance programs, ensuring educational opportunities for individual students. Grants, scholarships, and employment opportunities are included in such programs.
