As an educational institution, Coastal Carolina Community College fosters and facilitates creative thinking and innovation. This policy is intended to encourage innovation and to clarify the students’ and the College’s rights to intellectual property.

“Intellectual property” includes all inventions, improvements, copyright-eligible works, and tangible research materials produced by students of Coastal Carolina Community College.
