Golden LEAF Scholarship Program

The Golden LEAF Scholarship offers reimbursement of up to $250 towards a continuing education class that leads to a state or national credential and is at least 96 hours in length. Students must meet income requirements, complete an application, and provide required documentation and receipts.

Human Resources Development Scholarship

By completing 80 hours of Human Resources Development (HRD) classes, you can earn a scholarship for up to $180 to cover registration fee for an occupational extension class at Coastal Carolina Community College.

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

WIOA is a federally funded program for low income adults and dislocated workers enrolled or wishing to enroll in occupational training through Curriculum or Continuing Education. These funds may assist with registration fees, books, tools, required supplies, and childcare.

Applicant must be 18 years or older and a US citizen or eligible non-citizen. To apply, students must complete a WIOA application, assessment tests, and provide eligibility verification.

Military Employment Enhancement Initiative (MEEI)

The Military Employment Enhancement Initiative (MEEI) may provide employment assistance to eligible veterans, transitioning service members and spouses interested in occupational training through Curriculum or Continuing Education.  Funds can assist with training related expenses including On-the-Job Training. To apply, students must complete an application, assessment tests, and provide eligibility verification.

Lend Lease Atlantic Marine Corps Communities Scholarship

A $150 scholarship is available to veterans, active duty military, military spouses, military dependents, or Atlantic Marine Corps Communities Residents interested in Facilities Maintenance Training such as Plumbing, Welding and Wiring.  You must complete an application and can receive either a voucher for training or reimbursement. Eligibility verification will be required.

SECU Foundation

A $500 scholarship is available to current Continuing Education students in need of assistance with educational expenditures.  Eligible students must be an unemployed or underemployed North Carolina resident, enrolled in short-term occupational training that leads to a certificate, and is 96-hours long or more. Eligibility verification will be required.

Finish Line Grant

Current Curriculum and Continuing Education students who experience an emergency which is affecting their ability to continue and complete their course of study may apply.  To be eligible, students must have completed at least 75% of their course of study in an occupational-based training and have passing grades in their course of study.  Eligibility verification will be required.
