Veterans Programs

Coastal’s Veterans Programs office is dedicated to ensuring that veterans and their families are afforded the opportunity to utilize their federal education benefits.  The Office of Veterans Programs is located in the center of the campus, in the Student Center Building.


The College’s curriculum education is approved for the training of veterans and Selected Reservists/National Guardsman; the spouse and children of any totally and permanently disabled veteran (disability must be service-connected); and the spouse and children of a veteran who dies of a service-connected injury, a service-connected disability or a service-connected death; and spouses and children to whom entitlement has been transferred by the active-duty service member.

Persons seeking such entitlement should contact the Office of Veterans Programs.  Academic program eligibility is subject to approval by the North Carolina State Approving Agency.


The Office of Veterans Programs is comprised of three (3) full-time staff members and several work- study students available to serve you Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
