Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,
Some of Coastal Carolina Community College employees have been on campus all week assessing damage and making necessary repairs in order for the college to reopen. Although the campus is now in remarkably good condition due to their efforts, many students and employees are greatly challenged as a result of Hurricane Florence. Consequently, in the interest of giving students, faculty and staff more time to address individual and family needs, classes will not resume any earlier than Wednesday, September 26, 2018. The twelve week session is tentatively scheduled to begin Thursday, September 27, 2018.
Employees are advised to return to campus as needed on a voluntary basis through Monday, September 24, 2018 effectively immediately. Until further notice all permanent employees are to report for work by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 to assist in recognizing any fine tuning that may be necessary to accommodate students' return. Part-time employees will be contacted as needed by the appropriate office.
As stated in a previous communication, the priority remains with the well-being and safety of you and your family.
Your attention and understanding will be greatly appreciated.
Mr. David Heatherly President, Coastal Carolina Community College
