Golden LEAF Scholarship Program
The Golden LEAF Scholarship offers reimbursement of up to $250 towards a continuing education class that leads to a state or national credential and is at least 96 hours in length. Students must meet income requirements, complete an application, and provide required documentation and receipts.
Human Resources Development Scholarship
By completing 80 hours of Human Resources Development (HRD) classes, you can earn a scholarship for up to $180 to cover registration fee for an occupational extension class at Coastal Carolina Community College.
State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU) Scholarship
The SECU Scholarship offers reimbursement of $750 towards a continuing education class that leads to a state or national credential. Students must meet income requirements, complete an application and a career assessment, and provide required documentation and receipts.
Workforce Investment Act (WIA)
WIA is a federally funded program for low income adults and dislocated workers enrolled or wishing to enroll in occupational training through Curriculum or Continuing Education. These funds may assist with registration fees, books, tools, required supplies, and childcare.
Applicant must be 18 years or older and a US citizen or eligible non-citizen. To apply, students must complete a WIA application, assessment tests, and provide eligibility verification.
